防火橋架并非一種獨(dú)立的結(jié)構(gòu)形態(tài)，而是在普通槽式、托盤式或梯式橋架的基礎(chǔ)上，通過特殊的工藝賦予了其耐火性能。其原理是在橋架表面噴涂一層厚厚的防火涂料，或者在內(nèi)外層填充非金屬防火材料。當(dāng)遭遇火災(zāi)時，這層防火涂層會膨脹發(fā)泡，形成一層致密的隔熱碳化層，有效阻隔火勢蔓延和高溫對內(nèi)部電纜的炙烤。

Fireproof bridge is not an independent structural form, but is based on ordinary trough, tray or ladder bridge, and is endowed with fire resistance performance through special processes. The principle is to spray a thick layer of fireproof coating on the surface of the bridge, or fill non-metallic fireproof materials on the inner and outer layers. When encountering a fire, this fireproof coating will expand and foam, forming a dense insulation carbonization layer, effectively blocking the spread of fire and the high temperature from roasting the internal cables.

For example, in underground garages, the fire resistance limit is usually required to be greater than 1 hour. It is mainly used in key distribution lines such as fire pumps, smoke exhaust fans, fire elevators, and automatic fire alarm systems. When selecting and installing, not only should attention be paid to the fire resistance rating of the bridge itself, but also strict adherence to regulations: when the bridge passes through firewalls and floor slabs, non combustible materials not lower than the fire resistance limit of the floor slab must be used for tight fire sealing to ensure that this "safety line of defense" can still be unbreakable in extreme situations.
